Hebrews 10:24, 25 “Let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more, as you see the day drawing near.”
This is the scripture we chose as we began a women’s ministry at North Metro Church. I believe is points out the value of community. I’m reminded of the redwood trees – they grow so strong and tall yet they have very shallow roots – they are able to stand strong and tall by connecting their roots together. It’s the same with the Body of Christ – we must stand firm together!

There is certainly value in like-hearted Christ-followers endeavoring together to accomplish God’s purposes.

Good word, Johnston
